I am writing to express my interest in the Class A driving position, currently driving shorthaul from Sacramento to Reno and Carson City with a 53' covered flatbed. Air brakes, Doubles/Triples and Tanker endorsements. With over 10 years of experience in the transportation industry(light commercial driving) , including my recent role as a Delivery Driver driving 35ft box trucks, I am well-equipped to contribute effectively to your team.
In my previous role, I gained extensive experience in vehicle operation and maintenance, leveraging skills such as blueprint reading, automotive repair, brake repair, and flatbed handling. My strong communication skills and mechanical knowledge have consistently supported my ability to deliver exceptional customer service, solve problems efficiently, safety oriented and work collaboratively within teams.
I am a graduate of Placer High School and bring a solid work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail to any position I undertake.
I am enthusiastic about the opportunity to bring my expertise and dedication.
I do have pets and a daughter that makes OTR slightly difficult, since January I have logged 320 hours and counting. I understand that my experience is a issue; however, I am hopeful.
