I'm skilled in many different fields. I have extensive experience in both residential and commercial construction in all phases, from foundations to roofs and from rough framing to finish carpentry, rough and finish plumbing. I was a journeyman carpenter before I was 22 years old and my emphasis of work before I chose a different field was on building staircases of all kinds, including straight runs, winders , spiral and curved stairs. I'm experienced in both residential and commercial electrical, including 3 phase power.
I've got a very high mechanical aptitude. I can build a car from parts, from the ground up and with the right tools I can rebuild most combustion engines, both diesel and gasoline. I've got experience in body and fender repair, including welding, brazing and painting.
I have a fairly long background in machine work, including manual machining with mills and lathes. And my machining skills also extend to CNC machining with an emphasis on lathes. The CNC machining skills also encompass a decent amount of experience in rebuilding and retrofitting old machines with new controllers, servo motors and other electronics
I'm skilled in computer work, including building PC's from parts and installing operating systems, including Linux. My computer skills extend to repairing laptops and the use of many types of software, from image manipulation to spreadsheets and database creation. I type 40 to 80 words per minute, depending on what kind of typing it is.
I have office experience, including appointment setting, reception work, data entry, simple accounting and book keeping, interviewing employees, project management and more.
My language skills are very strong and I'm versed in writing anything from basic essays or articles to complex legal documents. I'm very comfortable on the phone and I'm courteous and professional.
This is just a short list of my capabilities. I am available for part time work, full time work, temporary or permanent.
