You're seeing them all over, Permanent Holiday Lights, but a better term for them is Year 'Round Lights. Icicles and solid color lights are becoming a thing of the past as the "Smart" era expands to outdoor programmable lighting right from your phone app or computer.

Look, I realize this is not Rocket Science, but a bit more thought and care needs to go into installing these lights over your typical Holiday lights. Placement of the lighting pucks in relation to your wall (since it uses your wall to shine on) is important to get right or the reflection on the wall will suffer. Also, who feels comfortable at the very top of the tall ladder and is comfortable splicing wires? The advice alone is also valuable, where to grab power from, direction to start, what parts of your house to light up and NOT light up etc..
