For swapping rifle barrels. I have installed/swapped barrels on Tikka, Savage, and Zermatt actions using this. I've done 75ft/lb for the Tikka swap and I usually do about 45-50 ft/lb on barrel nuts.
It'll probably struggle with breaking torque on factory barrels since breaking torque on those can be well in excess of 100 ft/lb and sometimes even over 200 ft/lb. I did a relief cut on the Tikka using a hacksaw blade and using the action wrench as guide to do a cut just in front of the shoulder and it spun off by hand afterwards.
Antiseize on the bolt threads to prevent galling. Use rosin to increase grip. Crank down the nuts using a pipe wrench. Stop just before the blocks begins to buckle. Don't go beyond that or the blocks can get damaged but replacements can be purchased/made.
Don't need any more because I bought an aluminum vise during black friday for increased versatility.
$30 firm. Pinned location is accurate for pickup. Barrel vise only, picture is just a demonstration that I put on the Tikka barrel with it.
