This is a Linux computer, running CentOS Linux. It is an HP Pavilion Desktop - 510-p136 that originally shipped with Windows, but I deleted Windows and installed the CentOS Linux operating system instead. This machine currently only offers command line interface.

A free graphical user interface GUI can be downloaded that is compatible with Windows.

Free software is also available for handling email, word processing, and all the other stuff that Microsoft office does..

This is a cheap way to get a computer, if you want to devote a little time to configuring it with free Linux software.

The savings from not having to pay Microsoft for MS Office every month alone will save you $240 per year, and $1,080 in five years in addition to the savings right now from only paying $15 for this.
