I have several sets of 6 panel playpens. We used them to fence of certain areas of our house when we had a small child. They are modular and can be built in any shape and used to fence off large door openings or areas.
These could also be used to keep dogs out of certain areas unless they are jumpers. We got quite good at just stepping over the panels. They worked well to keep the kid out of danger.
