A very solid machine and Boice Crane is made in the USA and is industrial grade! The throat plate is heavy cast iron which exemplifies the nature of the construction.
This machine needs some tender loving care but will make a great addition to any shop especially where space is a premium. It has wheels mounted to the unit and the mounting is heavy duty. Nothing flimsy about this machine.
It has a heavy duty 3 phase motor so if you don't have 3 phase, you will need a 3 phase converter or a variable frequency drive to operate it on single phase power. If you don't want the motor, I will be happy to keep it and reduce the price then you can put whatever you want on it.
I forgot the take a photo of the machine with the jointer guard in the operating position. It is shown with the guard swung away as it would be to replace the knives. It swing in or out in a matter of seconds.
