Circa 1916. Serial number 23447. Can not see Arm and Hammer stamp however with analysis it meets all criteria for an Arm and Hammer. Originally posted as a Trenton but a collector pointed out the details as to why it meets Arm and Hammer criteria. Arm and Hammer made just over 50,000 anvils. They are rare. The base is cast with welded to wrought at the waist and topped with a forge welded tool steel. Beautiful professional anvil that is a ready for work or appreciated by a collector.
