Reliable Landscaping and Design
Reliable Landscaping and Design is hiring an experienced Landscape Construction Foreman / Crew Lead to run a 2-4 person crew and manage residential landscape installation projects from start to finish.
We are looking for someone who can lead by example, stay productive, keep jobs organized, manage crew members, communicate clearly, and make sure projects are completed correctly, efficiently, and professionally.
This is not an entry-level position. We need someone with real experience in landscape construction and crew leadership who can take responsibility for day-to-day production on the jobsite.
Responsibilities:
Lead and manage a 2-4 person landscape installation crew
Run residential landscape construction projects from start to finish
Read plans and understand layout, grades, elevations, and project sequencing
Oversee and perform installation of pavers, retaining walls, drainage, irrigation, planting, sod, turf, concrete prep, and related site work
Coordinate daily tasks and keep the crew productive and on schedule
Make sure work is completed to company standards for quality and efficiency
Communicate with management regarding progress, materials, jobsite needs, and any issues
Maintain a safe, clean, and organized jobsite
Operate equipment and use tools safely and properly
Problem-solve in the field and keep projects moving forward
Requirements:
Strong experience in landscape construction
Prior experience leading a crew and running jobs
Ability to effectively manage a 2-4 person crew
Strong knowledge of landscape installation, hardscape, drainage, irrigation, grading, and general construction processes
Ability to read plans, follow layouts, and understand how projects should be built
Strong work ethic, leadership, and communication skills
Dependable, punctual, and professional
Valid driver’s license required
Ability to perform physical work and lead from the front
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience operating equipment such as skid steers, mini excavators, and compact equipment
Experience with project layout and jobsite planning
Ability to train and develop crew members
CDL is a plus, but not required
