We are currently hiring for a full-time Marina Maintenance Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with our Marina Maintenance Manager while also completing daily tasks independently.
Riverbank Marina is a 15-acre waterfront property that includes approximately 200 boat slips, 15 office spaces, and parking lot areas. We are located on Garden Highway near I-5, alongside Chevy’s, Crawdads, and Roosters on the River. This position is ideal for someone with multiple skill sets who enjoys variety—no two days are the same at Riverbank Marina!
We are looking for a reliable, motivated individual who takes pride in their work and helps keep our marina operating safely, efficiently, and professionally.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
• Assist the Maintenance Manager with all assigned duties
• Work as an integral part of the Riverbank Marina team
• Complete assigned maintenance task lists and work orders
• Maintain marina docks, parking lots, and office spaces
• Perform general cleaning of docks, bathrooms, fuel station, and parking lots
• Assist with landscaping upkeep
• Perform basic office maintenance tasks including replacing light bulbs, basic plumbing, drywall patching, painting, and minor HVAC-related tasks
• Assist with inventory control and security of supplies
• Maintain accurate logs, records, and basic written reports of work performed
• Ensure a safe environment for team members, tenants, and marina visitors
• Communicate regularly with management and other team members
Preferred experience includes:
• HVAC systems and general maintenance
• Deck replacement and repair
• Basic welding
• Use of hand tools and electrical tools
• Electrical work
• Basic computer skills
General skills helpful for this role:
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Ability to report to and take direction from a direct manager
• Ability to work independently when necessary
• Intuitive nature to anticipate when and where help is needed
• Strong observational and problem-solving skills
Requirements:
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Must have reliable transportation
• Must have a valid driver’s license
• Ability to walk up and down stairs multiple times during a shift
• Ability to lift and carry heavy loads up and down stairs
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform physical tasks for extended periods of time
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
Schedule & Work Hours:
• Must be available to work at least one weekend day
• On-call availability is required
• Standard shift length is 8 hours per day
• Overtime may be available depending on daily tasks and operational needs
Compensation & Benefits:
• Pay range: $24–$28 per hour, depending on experience
• Benefits and vacation time are available following the successful completion of a probationary period
