I’ve had the vintage clamp-on universal tow bar for many years and haven’t used it recently. The unit was designed to clamp on to a vintage bumper for attachment to the vehicle that will be towed. The spread on the toe bar will accommodate a span of about 6-inches (fully collapsed) to around 40-inches (full spread). The bumper clamps are easily removed and the unit can be attached to vehicle mounted tabs or any suitable bracketry. I used this tow bar many times, in the past, by attaching it to fabricated brackets (generally heavy steel angle) that I affixed to the vehicle. It works GREAT! It is very sturdy and reliable. The unit comes with two sets of bumper clamps and a safety chain. Price: $50.
