Everde Growers is a leader in the horticulture industry with over 6,700 acres in production across the country. Our Winters, CA farm is looking for reliable drivers to join our team. We are currently looking to fill 1 Class A CDL Driver.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Operate vehicles with capacity of 3+ tons to transport materials to and from specified destinations.
• Drivers will be responsible for connecting/disconnecting trailers.
• Manage delivery paperwork, obtain customer signatures, and collect payments for COD deliveries.
• Maintain accurate driver/truck logs according to state and federal regulations.
• Perform equipment inspections and minor emergency roadside repairs (e.g., bulb changes).
• Responsible for unloading at delivery points, assisting with loading for trade pickups, and ensuring all delivery paperwork and customer signatures are 100% accurate.
SCHEDULE & LOCATION
• Home Base: Winters, CA.
• Routes: Primarily local. Most trips are completed within one day, though intra-state long-haul eligibility may be required.
• Compliance: All positions are subject to DOT rules, including random drug testing.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• License: Current, valid Class A CDL.
• Endorsements: Certified California DMV endorsement to pull double trailers is required.
• Experience: 1–3 years of related tractor-trailer experience preferred.
• Driving Record: Clean MVR; no more than 2 points; no DUI/DWI violations.
• Communication: Ability to read/write in English or Spanish; good oral communication in English.
• Compliance: Must be willing to undergo DOT-regulated random drug testing.
