The USDA, ARS, Western Human Nutrition Research Center on the UC Davis campus is seeking overweight men and women to participate in a research study examining the metabolic effects of a nutritional product made from grape skins and seeds.
The study will be conducted over a 16-week period and will include several trips to the UC Davis campus.
Men and Women, Ages 35 - 65 years old and 10 - 95 lbs overweight
Not taking medication for blood sugar, cholesterol, blood pressure, weight loss or other conditions
Not pregnant or planning to become pregnant
Not taken antibiotics in the last 3 months
Willing to consume capsules containing chardonnay grape pomace powder with meals
Approximately 14 study visits
Participants will receive:
Monetary compensation of up to $600 after completion
